Four concerts across Tokyo: Shinjuku Loft, Batica, Amp Cafe, and Forest Limit. Each a different room, a different crowd, a different atmosphere. The legendary Shinjuku Loft set the tone for the run: one of Tokyo's most storied live music venues, with a history that runs through punk, jazz, and experimental music.
At Amp Cafe, artist Mehico — an Australia-based Japanese painter — painted a large work live on canvas during the set. The music shaped what went onto the canvas; the painting in progress changed how the music moved. Neither could be finished without the other.
